What You’ll Do

Our team works very closely with vendors and we are looking for a talented Vendor Manager to  join our team. In this role, you will be based in Dublin, Ireland and will be responsible for the EMEA region. You’ll manage several aspects of our supplier relationships, including governance, strategy, SLA/KPI management, financial analysis, and infrastructure.

More specifically, you will:

  • Manage relationships with vendor partners specifically within the EMEA region, which will include developing and executing operational strategies for Twitter’s global outsourcing model

  • Partner closely with User Services stakeholders on all vendor-related tasks to help drive the organization’s support strategies and direction

  • Collaborate with vendor counterparts in regards to regional governance, process excellence and improvements, infrastructure support and project management

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to optimise performance, improve quality assurance, and be a constant resource to answer questions

  • Utilize metrics and analytics to make key business decisions and to identify scalable, cost effective solutions

  • Responsible for staffing and access lifecycle management, including onboarding/offboarding, access and hardware requests

  • Potentially review sensitive and potentially disturbing content including but not limited to vulgar language, hate speech, violent threats, pornography and other graphic images.

  • Continuously strive towards improving inefficiencies in existing processes and workflows, etc. We’re constantly looking to improve!

Who You Are

You will have a real passion for vendor management, impeccable attention to detail, excellent communication skills and, of course, tons of enthusiasm for helping Twitter provide unwavering support to its growing global audience.


If this sounds like it might be you, you probably have:

  • Familiarity with vendor operations and customer support

  • Strong organizational and project management abilities, with a consistent track record of being able to run multiple projects and tasks simultaneously to successful completion

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly-changing environment with multiple stakeholders

  • Experience working in hi-tech, online or telecommunication industries in a customer support environment

  • Active, passionate Twitter user with strong interest in social media



  • BA/BS degree or local equivalent; advanced degree a plus

  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience

  • Ability to travel up to 20-30% to vendor locations in EMEA

  • Experience working with content management systems, administrative tools, databases, troubleshooting IT issues, etc.

  • Strong background in metrics and data analysis

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organisational skills, and highly developed interpersonal skills

  • Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed timeframes
