User Services - Vendor Manager (Dublin)

Are you enthusiastic about Twitter? Have you held diverse roles that require efficiency, organization, communication and flexibility? The User Services team works very closely with vendors, and we are looking for a talented Vendor Manager to join our team and manage all aspects of our supplier relationships, including strategy, SLA/KPI management, financial analysis, contract negotiations, infrastructure, etc. This role requires experience in project management, impeccable attention to detail, excellent communication skills and, of course, tons of enthusiasm for helping Twitter reach its expanding global audience. Previous experience in vendor and/or relationship management is highly desired!


  • Manage relationships with vendor partners within the EMEA region and globally, which includes operational strategy, execution and delivery of Twitter’s outsourcing model
  • Partner closely with User Services stakeholders on all vendor-related tasks to help drive the org’s support strategies and direction
  • Collaborate with vendor counterparts in regards to regional governance, process excellence and improvements, infrastructure support and project management
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to optimise performance, improve quality assurance, and be a constant resource to answer questions
  • Use data driven insights to make key business decisions and to identify scalable, cost effective solutions
  • Assist with building and maintaining budget and forecast models
  • Responsible for staffing and access lifecycle management, including onboarding/offboarding, access and hardware requests
  • Potentially review sensitive and potentially disturbing content including but not limited to vulgar language, hate speech, violent threats, pornography and other graphic images.
  • Continuously strive towards improving inefficiencies in existing processes and workflows, etc. We’re constantly looking to improve!
  • Communicate fearlessly! Inter-team and cross-functional teamwork is the foundation of our work here. Open, concise, accurate and timely communication with your team is a must.
  • BA/BS degree or local equivalent; advanced degree a plus
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience
  • Experience working with content management systems, administrative tools, databases, troubleshooting IT issues, etc.
  • Strong background in metrics and data analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organisational skills, and highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed timeframes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Statistics, or Data Analytics
  • Have prior experience in people management, vendor management and managing global projects/programs
  • Experience working in a global customer support environment
  • Proficiency in one or more non-English languages
  • Active, passionate Twitter user with strong interest in social media
