Sr. Financial Analyst / Financial Analyst (FP&A) - Infrastructure & Engineering

Who We Are:

The Twitter Financial Planning & Analysis team provides the executive leadership team with timely and unbiased financial analyses and insights to inform critical business decisions. As a key member of the Finance team, you will support our Engineering and Infrastructure teams - providing a great opportunity to learn and make a meaningful impact on the success of the company.


What You’ll Do:

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Play a key role in the financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and month end processes

  • Investigate detailed drivers of spending within the Infrastructure & Engineering business units and translate that into insight for monthly reporting to executives

  • Develop expertise in the network, datacenter, corporate IT, and/or private and public cloud capacity plan functions and perform ad-hoc financial analyses to support investment decisions

  • Become the Subject Matter Expert for your business at all levels while owning the P&L

  • Partner with Infrastructure team to manage capex budget based on capacity plan

  • Investigate detailed drivers of spending within a business unit and translate that into insight for recurring reporting to executives

  • Design, develop & deliver insightful reports/analyses for internal customers on an ongoing basis

  • Initiate, drive and implement improvements of processes; constantly look to invent and simplify

  • Be personable, approachable and able to connect with every person on the team and throughout the company


Who You Are:

  • Superior Excel skills

  • Experience in Google Docs preferred

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Able to work collaboratively across different teams and functions

  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting analyses to management

  • Able to work autonomously, to meet tight deadlines, and to thrive in a fast paced environment


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with an excellent academic record

  • 3+ years of work experience, preferably in an Infrastructure planning & analytics or FP&A capacity

  • Superior Excel skills
