Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst, Recruiting

Who You Are:

As the Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst in Recruiting you will primarily work with and deliver on analytics, operations and customer support needs within Recruiting, business leadership and cross-functional partners including Finance and People Team. You will regularly work on projects that require data gathering, analyses and insights.

What You'll Do:
  • Mine and analyze data to identify critical business insights

  • Translate insights into concrete, actionable recommendations for the business or for solution improvements

  • Prepare data and develop standard reports for hiring forecasts, resource planning and business reviews

  • Design, develop, and maintain ongoing metrics, reports, analyses and dashboards to drive key business decisions such as Recruiting hiring goals

  • Identify performance trends and provide insight into influential factors that impact our recruiting ability

  • Synthesize learnings and prepare effective presentations (verbal and written) for recruiting, project teams and business leaders

  • Build and maintain processes to acquire, process and curate necessary data for analysis and insights; experience serving as a project manager a plus

  • Work with project teams to improve Recruiting data quality and identify areas for improvement by analyzing systems, standard operating processes and policies
  • ​Establish solid working relationship with key stakeholders and become a close partner with respect to reporting, data and intelligence needs
  • ​Partner directly with Twitter’s People, Systems & Analytics team to ensure alignment on projects and analytics roadmap on people-centric and recruiting data

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years experience in data & analytics or related field with preference for at least 2+ years supporting Human Resources or Recruiting

  • Bachelor’s in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science or other quantitative field preferred

  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Google Sheets a plus

  • Intermediate experience developing reports with Tableau

  • Be independent in data analytics by extracting/querying from databases, building SQL pivots and understanding of data cubes, as necessary

  • Familiarity of ATS and/or HRIS data objects

  • Great communicator and presenter

  • You geek out about data

  • You love effective and efficient processes
