Partnerships Manager, News (India) - 6 Months Contract



Twitter is seeking an ambitious and multi-talented person to drive our exciting news mission in India.

Twitter’s Partnership Manager, News must be a news leader, well-connected in media and journalism circles, and have a clear and nuanced understanding of the news business, it’s trends, challenges and opportunities.



  • Be a creative consultant for news organisations, publishers and broadcasters and other key partners to deliver the best Twitter strategy possible for their business.

  • Deliver a clear audience-focussed strategy for reaching every news consumer, and producer in India.

  • Drive revenue-generating opportunities and activations.

  • Be responsible for generating case studies, data-driven analyses as well as documenting and distributing best practices.

  • Handle a multitude of tasks in supporting news partners, journalists and opinion leaders - ranging from high-end partner support to lower level administrative tasks.

  • Work closely with our revenue and strategy teams to create compelling Twitter campaigns that drive revenue as well as audience reach.

  • Prepare training and presentation materials, including presentations, case studies, training handouts, and/or best practice guides.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Industry experience & required skills:

  • At least 7 years experience in the news industry, with a strong network across newsrooms, broadcasters, publishers and news producers.

  • Confidence and experience working with and out-reaching to high profile talent, journalists and opinion leaders.

  • Experience in driving sales and generating revenue.

  • Exceptional communication skills in person and in writing, especially with high-level partners.

  • Experience conducting data-driven analyses to drive your decision-making.

  • Stellar people skills.
