Twitter’s global business marketing team leverages our client and industry expertise to communicate the value of Twitter to the marketers and agencies we serve and establish Twitter as an indispensable partner to our clients’ business success. Internally, we represent the voice of the client and end-customer to our key partners including client solution, research, product and more. Externally, we communicate with marketing decision-makers to demonstrate the power and effectiveness of Twitter.

Marketing manager will be responsible for developing insightful contents for Japan in partnership with our Client Partnership and MI&A and Product team.  The Marketing Manager creates inspired, compelling content that communicates the value of our platform to advertisers. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with client solution, research and creative teams to develop business to business marketing material including, but not limited to, narratives, blog posts, short and long-form video, infographics, and content for social channels. You’ll help development and execution of Twitter’s vertical marketing plan, establish a position of thought leadership and scale content initiatives across industries.

  • Creating research-driven content that translate Twitter’s brand and product positioning into a range of materials that engage decision-makers at each stage of the customer lifecycle

  • Researching, writing, and editing compelling content for @TwitterMktgJP, narratives, industry playbooks, blog posts, short and long-form video infographics, case studies, trend pieces and other thought leadership distribution channels

  • Working closely with vertical leads and Client-Solution CPs/CAMs and Product Marketing and Communications teams to identify and execute opportunities for communicating our marketing success stories

  • Ensuring on-brand consistency in written and visual communications

  • Supporting other Marketing members in broader responsibilities to get the job done

  • Assisting in developing Twitter’s own brand campaign involving different media vehicle ranging from OOH, Digital, Print and to potentially TVCM



  • Flexible and strong mindset to take on a task beyond defined Job Description

  • Outstanding communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills; team-first mentality

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a marketing role at an advertiser or at an agency

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Twitter Ad products and how Agency and Advertisers value them

  • Hands on experiences in driving branding and/or new product and service launch campaigns

  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to synthesize complex concepts into clear, concise, and powerful messages with attention to detail and quality

  • Builder mentality, an insatiable sense of curiosity, and love for rolling up your sleeves and getting to work

  • Enthusiasm for understanding the customer and digging in to identify client needs and solutions that only Twitter can deliver

  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), video/webinar production

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Desire to help Twitter become a vital part of clients’ marketing strategies

  • A desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • Strong command in Japanese/English for both verbal and written communications

  • Bachelors (or Masters) degree
