WHO WE ARE

Twitter’s North America Business Marketing team is looking for an experienced marketer to lead strategic marketing initiatives to reach the most discerning consumers in the world -- marketers. Our team combines marketing expertise and creativity to lead savvy marketing initiatives that demonstrate the value of Twitter to our key customers and prospects -- marketers, media & creative agencies. Our goal is to establish Twitter as an indispensable partner to our clients’ business success.  

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

This role is responsible for 3 critical elements of North America business marketing:

1.  Marketing Strategy

  • Lead the development and delivery of Twitter’s marketing plan for the Automotive industry in collaboration with our sales team, research, and other internal stakeholders to drive advertiser adoption of our platform

  • Align Twitter’s value proposition with advertiser and industry-specific marketing objectives

  • Apply an Automotive industry POV to North America marketing initiatives and develop a go-to-market strategy for key Automotive audiences

2.  Content Creation

  • Create the content and marketing programs that will maximize industry revenue growth; focus on why Twitter is relevant to the automotive  industry and how best to use the platform to meet client marketing objectives

  • Develop compelling, client-facing materials for sales to use

  • Partner internally and externally to develop & distribute deep insights that matter to our customers

3.  Relationship Management

  • Serve as one of Twitter’s Automotive industry experts

  • Train sellers and facilitate the ongoing sharing of knowledge and best practices across regions and sales teams

  • Solicit quarterly feedback from sales, clients, and agencies to drive research, content, and product development

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Solid marketing chops with an understanding of media and digital advertising, ideally from within the automotive industry or working with the industry

  • Passion for understanding the customer and identifying client needs and solutions that only Twitter can deliver

  • Experience conducting full-funnel marketing from awareness through retention

  • Artful storyteller who excels at turning data and insights into compelling, inspiring narratives that communicate complex concepts simply

  • Outstanding communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills; team-first mentality

  • Track record forging strong, productive relationships with diverse stakeholders and working on complex cross-functional teams

  • Growth mentality, an insatiable sense of curiosity, a strong desire to learn, and a love for rolling up your sleeves and getting to work

  • Preference for a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Execution and problem solving skills that are second to none

  • Left- and right-brain thinker who draws energy from analytical and creative thinking

  • Desire to help Twitter become a vital part of clients’ marketing strategies

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree; MBA a plus

  • 5-8 years of marketing or related experience

  • Expertise in the Automotive industry a plus
