You will have built highly successful teams bringing influential staff onboard. In doing so, you will have demonstrated assertiveness, understanding, fortitude, and the ability to be both operational and strategic. 15+ years of experience is required, a significant portion of which has been spent leading a recruiting function, preferably with a mix of start-ups and more established companies. 8-10 years of experience required in a multi-national leadership capacity building, motivating, and managing a high performing team.

What are the key responsibilities?
Lead , develop and inspire a global team of almost 85 recruiters, sourcers, operational experts, coordinators and other recruiting specialists.
Create a metrics focused organization that drives accountability and keeps the team focused on creating a world-class candidate and hiring manager experience. Utilize data to garner insights and understand business needs and adjust plans as needed; drive thought leadership around how and where to make business investments and trade-offs.
Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to develop and deliver effective recruiting strategies and processes that align with business objectives, drive superior results and strengthen Twitter’s talent base. Lead the creation of of a comprehensive recruitment strategy for all functional areas (Engineering, Product, Design, Revenue, G&A), geographies and business units that delivers a diverse and inclusive workforce.
Provide direction to global recruiting leaders and specialists in all areas of talent acquisition, including Executive Talent Acquisition, full-time professional hiring, intern hiring, college recruiting, internal transfers, contract conversions, sourcing and talent attraction activities.
Understand how to assess talent supply internally and externally, define critical gaps, & develop recruiting strategies to close those gaps, working closely with the Twitter People team and the other COE partners.
Strategize and implement talent forecasting & global workforce planning, including identification of new/evolving skill sets required for Twitter’s growth initiatives, including input into innovative succession strategies and organizational development plans.
Responsible for establishing and maintaining talent market expertise including comprehensive view of industry trends and competitors; provide expertise in market insights, talent landscape, and an understanding of talent needs.
Redesign and oversee all aspects of the candidate experience to ensure that we deliver an experience commensurate with our brand promise.
Provide input for recruiting systems requirements and redesign. In partnership with People Operations and IT, lead the recruiting technology platform strategy
Identify and negotiate contracts with external recruiting agencies, Executive search firms, technology providers and vendors
