Who we are

Twitter is looking for an outstanding full stack engineer to work on internal tools that are used by support staff to help deal with abuse, sensitive media and user safety on the platform.

 

What you’ll do

Work on building and supporting our Ruby and Scala applications on the backend and javascript on the front end. We run on the same Twitter.com infrastructure and scalable technology.

 

Who you are

We’re looking for an engineer that has front end javascript and css experience to build complex and user friendly single page applications. You’ll be working on a number of products and should be at home taking a design or feature and implementing it with great fidelity.

If this sounds like you, you've probably

  • Built and scaled backend web services and web applications

  • Front end web development with a javascript framework (Angular, React)

  • Write clear concise code with full comment and test coverage

  • Ruby or Scala experience

 

Requirements:

  • A BA/BS in CS or similar work experience

  • 2+ years experience building web services or web applications

  • Front end javascript experience

  • Working knowledge of source control, CI, automated testing and code review

Engineering Hiring Process

Step 1

Once your application is received, a recruiter will reach out pending your qualifications are a match for the role.

Step 2

If your background is a match, you may have 1-2 technical phone interviews or be given the chance to provide a work sample depending on the role.

Step 3

If the phone interviews go well or your work sample is strong, the final step includes interviews with 5-6 people held onsite in our office.
