Who We Are

Twitter’s Global Business Marketing (GBM) team is responsible for creating, spotlighting and distributing the most relevant and compelling world-class content for marketers and agencies. This team’s work brings Twitter to life for these key customers, driving strategic value, scale and optimization.

What You’ll Do  

In this role, you will have the opportunity to directly apply your strategic and technical email marketing expertise to all facets of lifecycle marketing for key global clients and customers. Your work will have an immediate impact and help build and maintain a best-in-class marketing program with automated and ad-hoc email touches. 

In addition to working closely with the team lead and team member, you will primarily focus on supporting our GBM regional marketing leads along with collaborating with a variety of cross-functional teams, including Content & Social, Regional Marketing leads, Creative, Operations, Engineering, and Sales.

You will:

  • Create and execute automated and ad-hoc marketing emails and landing pages using primarily Eloqua and a couple other platforms.

  • Proactively look to improve the broader channel and campaign specific performance by making iterative upgrade recommendations based on testing; audience segmentation and lifecycle strategies; B2B and email marketing best practices; and out-of-the-box creative thinking.

  • Proactively support our regional leads in EMEA, APAC, and LATAM who will be in your primary internal clients to ensure smooth campaign execution and deployment.

  • Keep abreast of Twitter’s brand requirements, and ensure consistency and adherence to those standards.  

  • Pull on a regular basis the performance reporting & analytics for your campaigns and email channel, and share insights based on data with internal clients & email team.

  • Provide proactive actionable recommendations such as testing opportunities, audience targeting, and content selection based on analysis of metrics and audience data.

  • Work closely with Operations team to help improve, monitor, and maximize the database integrity and provide guidance on integration with related platforms.   

  • Support the team lead on broader initiatives and projects that will help drive the growth of the channel, enhance marketing programs, and make a positive company-wide impact.  

  • Provide ongoing email channel thought leadership and best practice guidance, as well as process improvements to internal clients, partners and colleagues.  

  • Identify marketplace trends, tools and technologies to drive improvements and enhancements across channel touchpoints and/or to solve pain points.

Who You Are

We’re looking for an email marketing and/or marketing automation specialist who can hit the ground running, constructing campaigns in Eloqua from Day 1, and has a clear understanding of email channel best practices.

The ideal candidate would possess these qualities and skills:

  • Eloqua expertise, and strong experience with HTML and CSS.

  • Knowledge of email marketing best practices, relevant email law (CAN-SPAM,

  • COPPA), and database management such as list hygiene, audience segmentation, and cross-platform integration including Salesforce ideally).

  • Competency with data, sound testing tactics, and strong quantitative skills to support data-informed decision-making and recommendations.

  • A creative mind and eye that ensure marketing programs are both on-brand and  innovative.    

  • Demonstrated success in influencing/negotiating with others, and fostering healthy team dynamics.

  • A builder mentality, an insatiable sense of curiosity, and love for rolling up your sleeves to getting to work.

  • Execution and problem solving skills that are second to none; resourcefulness, attention to detail, and comfort tackling ambiguity.

Requirements

  • Minimum BA/BS or equivalent level of education/experience.

  • Must have minimum of 3-5 years of experience building and launching campaigns within Eloqua preferably (Marketo, ExactTarget or other similar enterprise automation platforms okay as well).

  • Must have proficiency with HTML and CSS (some experience with JavaScript and SQL is a plus).

  • Solid experience in email channel and campaign level reporting, metrics and audience analysis, as well as a moderate level of fluency with data interpretation.   

  • Exceptional proactive project management skills and demonstrated track record of working with global teams.

  • Commitment to quality, accuracy and consistency.

  • Some experience with Photoshop & Adobe Suite would be a nice to have!
