Twitter is looking for an experienced marketer to join the team that clearly articulates the Twitter brand to the world. Twitter’s brand is universally recognized and organically promoted in other media channels every single day. Our team is primarily about taking the magic that happens on the Twitter platform, as well as the extraordinary earned media we receive, and converting it into a clear consumer benefit that can be communicated globally 24/7. The successful candidate will join a team that answers one simple question in the minds of non-users: why should I use Twitter every day?
What You’ll Do:
The Brand Activations Manager will help translate strategy into world-class campaigns and experiences. From synthesizing a range of data sources into consumer insights to working closely with creative resources to roll out brand activations, the person who fills this role will need to work cross-functionally to build strong teams, have a bias for action and a love of making things. The Brand Activations Manager will represent the team’s plans and work with confidence and clarity when partnering with internal marketing, brand, product marketing, comms and creative teams across the broader Twitter organization.
Who You Are:
Successful candidates will bring expertise in digital marketing and integrated campaign planning, strong analytical skills, an eye for creative and brand, a passion for popular culture and a strong affinity for Twitter.
A mix of in-house and agency experience preferred.
Experience managing account, creative and/or media initiatives.
Experience in building compelling traditional and non-traditional media and sponsorship programs, events, and/or campaigns that drive brand awareness and engagement.
A strong track record of developing and maintaining highly collaborative cross-functional relationships and a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including executive presentations.
Outstanding organization, project management, and time management skills.
A problem solver who can identify potential solutions as well as escalating concerns.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-starter environment, grace under pressure and comfortable with frequent pivots in priorities.
Shows passion and personality.
