Agency Research Analyst

Who we are: Twitter is looking for a research analyst to support our advertising agency team and agency partners, product managers, and in collaboration with the sales team, you will help develop and evaluate research that proves the value of Twitter to clients and the marketing community at large. This will be done through custom research and showcasing this research in creative, innovative ways!

What you will do:

  • Custom Research: Assist with design, execution, analysis and results of key thought leadership pieces that seek to uncover consumer behaviors on Twitter that informs actionable advertiser opportunities.

  • Client Presentations: Showcase insights and case studies to key agency clients to help further develop our agency partnerships.

  • New Research Product Development: Working in a multi-functional setting with product managers and revenue engineers, contribute to requirements gathering, design, and development of new advertising research products.

  • Meta Analyses: Help aggregate, analyze, and package findings and norms uncovered by newly-developed research products for external consumption.

  • Measurement Portfolio: Understand relationship between the repertoire of Twitter’s advertising measurement solutions and how different research products can best predict key client objectives.

What we are looking for:

  • BA/BS, MA/MS/MBA degree preferred: 4+ yrs experience in quantitative and qualitative media research, market research, or product management

  • Media agency experience preferred

  • Knowledge and point-of-view about digital media research/measurement and methodological considerations

  • Familiarity with statistical packages (SPSS, R, etc) and data query languages (SQL, etc)

  • Familiarity with inferential statistical techniques (regression analysis, ANOVA, etc)

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

  • Ability to build internal networks to accomplish goals through collaboration with resources across teams

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about a particular industry and/or product set

  • Ability to sift through large quantities of data to tell meaningful stories

  • Organized, responsible, with a focus on adhering to project timelines

  • A self-starter who takes initiative and is action oriented

  • Is driven and solution-oriented and can overcome obstacles to drive projects through completion

  • Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills--particularly across geographic and time-zone boundaries Ability to build internal networks to accomplish goals through collaboration with resources across “dotted-line” teams
