Who we are:

Ads Policy team members work closely with Twitter’s Legal, Ad Operations, Public Policy and Sales teams around the full life cycle of a policy.

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, results-oriented, and highly adaptable great teammate to join our Trust and Safety team in Dublin.

What you'll do:

This person will commit to our mission of advocating for users’ safety and maintaining trust in Twitter Ads. If you are can-do, focused, collaborative, and hold fairness and consistency as top priorities in the face of complex contradictory interests, we’d like to speak to you!

Defending and respecting the user's voice and growing our business in a way that makes us proud are two of Twitter’s core values. In the role of Ads Policy Specialist at Twitter you will be responsible for drafting and analyzing policy in line with these core values.

  • Research, draft, and publish advertising policies.

  • Continuously evaluate, propose, and execute on improvements for existing processes and policies.

  • Document and explain team policies and processes clearly and intelligibly to internal partners and, when required, to advertisers and other third parties.

  • Coordinate projects and streamline communications among local/distributed teammates and partners to meet deadlines, produce necessary work product, and achieve team goals.

  • Handle internal queries about advertising policy areas with clear, helpful, and complete responses.

  • You have a deep understanding of Twitter and familiarity with Twitter Ads.

  • You have knowledge of the online advertising space and its associated policy issues.

  • You have extraordinary analytical, research, and organizational skills.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience dealing with compliance issues and/or researching and drafting policy

  • Bachelors degree equivalent education/experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working at an internet company on policy issues 
  • Relevant qualification or equivalent education/experience in law or public policy
  • Experience with e-commerce, advertising policy, ad exchanges and networks

  • Fluency in another European language in addition to English
