JAPAC Head of Revenue Policy, T&S

What You’ll Do

The Revenue Policy team is dedicated to enabling policy-compliant revenue through innovative approaches while mitigating risk to Twitter, its brand, and its customers. As the Revenue Policy Regional Head for JAPAC, you will be the liaison between Revenue Policy and revenue generating teams in JAPAC, you will also lead the team, actively evaluating the need for the Revenue Policy JAPAC team to grow and you representing and serving as an advocate for your team’s work with senior leadership. In addition, you will contribute to broader Trust & Safety initiatives.

You will have/develop a deep understanding of Twitter revenue policies and lead your team to ensure the timely release and enhancement of policies and enforcement guidelines. You will implement a comprehensive strategy based on the areas owned by your team, in coordination with other Revenue Policy Regional Heads and managers. 

The Position

You will be responsible for: 

  • Providing strategic direction and defining short and long term goals for the JAPAC region in support of both department and company overall goals.

  • Providing guidance to your team and facilitating relevant professional development opportunities and strategic direction for your team in collaboration with your manager..

  • Reviewing and approving your team’s deliverables as well as overseeing performance and eliminating blockers that may prevent team members from launching timely and relevant policies and providing enforcement guidance. 

  • Cultivating partnerships and collaborating cross-functionally with appropriate stakeholders both within and outside of T&S.

  • Partner with other members of the Revenue Policy team, as well as with Stakeholders, to develop a holistic approach to complex cross-functional issues, policies and their enforcement.

  • Driving complex cross functional local and global initiatives on behalf of the Revenue Policy team.

  • Representing the team internally and externally when appropriate.

  • You have familiarity with Twitter Ads and you have been exposed to advertising and monetization policy or compliance. 

  • You are open to international travel and have an appreciation and respect for the norms of cultures other than your own. 

  • You are comfortable collaborating with a multinational team of stakeholders and capable of building consensus. 



  • 7+ years experience working on relevant issues, preferably at an internet or technology company

  • 4+ years of managing experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education / experience 

  • Working hours may vary depending on business needs. Regular meetings with Europe and the US and occasional weekends.
