Sr. Platform Solutions Manager

Company Description

Twitter is seeking an API Partner Development Manager who will be responsible for managing a diverse set of companies who partner with Twitter and build to Twitter’s Ads API.

This role is one that requires multitasking across a variety of responsibilities including: managing the relationships across several strategic Twitter Marketing Partners; managing the pipeline of new Ads API applicants; creating scaled programs that enable partner solutions; driving and/or supporting projects with cross-functional teams; and acting as a thought leader in an effort to develop innovative solutions with our partners.

The ideal candidate understands the technical aspects of how marketing technology interacts with platforms, ranging from how a partner builds products to an API, to scaling a partner offering to advertisers.

The Position

The candidate has significant experience with display/social advertising, has managed software product deliverables, has managed an ecosystem of partners, and most importantly, is an enthusiast of Twitter who evangelizes the benefits of partnering with the platform.

The position is based in New York, NY or San Francisco, reporting into the Revenue Partnerships Manager.


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic partners who build to the Ads API, providing first class service from business matters to technical questions. and work with these partners to drive business on Twitter.
  • Drive alignment between the builds of our partner ecosystem and the value marketers are aiming to gain from their investment on Twitter.
  • Work closely with the Partner Engineering team and manage technical questions that arise from developers.
  • Educate the Twitter sales organization on the value our partner ecosystem can bring to advertisers
  • Support the broader Global Business Partners team to scale business across the region.
  • Be an always-on advocate for our partners 


  • 7+ years of relevant experience: client-facing roles such as partner management, technical sales, program management or sales required.
  • Deep passion for Twitter, and understands the nature of both the consumer and ads sides of the platform
  • Understanding of what an API is and how a business builds to an API.
  • Experience working cross functionally across a large organization. Ability to independently manage a large pipeline of ecosystem partners, each in various stages of development.
  • Understands and enjoys the complexity of the traditional ad business
  • Strong understanding of digital and social advertising
  • Rapid learner, who can keep up with the fast-changing ad tech environment.
  • Ability to travel at a certain period of time
  • A BS degree or equivalent experience, with a technical degree such as Computer Science a plus

The applicable salary range for each U.S.-based role is based on where the employee works and is aligned to one of 4 tiers according to a cost of labor index in that geographic area. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary ranges for this role, are set forth below. These ranges may be modified in the future.

  • Tier A: USD $142,000 - USD $200,000
  • Tier B: USD $135,000 - USD $189,000
  • Tier C: USD $128,000 - USD $179,000
  • Tier D: USD $120,000 - USD $169,000

This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Performance Bonus Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
