Come help us build the future of Twitter’s Media & Entertainment business, delivering best-in-class creative strategies, informed by human-centric insights, that get people talking about the next big entertainment release.

Job Description

You will sit on the creative powerhouse team called Twitter Next, an indispensable part of the sales organization. This unique group balances the responsibility of exploring the realm of creative possibility while driving revenue. You will be dedicated to driving business through both creative and strategic thinking and outputs. You will leverage your experience as a marketer to contribute to all elements of the strategic and creative process from data analysis to insight development to ideation to pitch and execution. This role involves working directly with teams within Twitter Next as well as across Twitter (Sales, Research, Content Partnerships) and with external client and agency partners.

We’re looking for an Associate Brand Strategist who can excel in using research, human-centric thinking, and a strategic approach to unpack marketing briefs and deliver creative recommendations for how our Media & Entertainment partners, from movie studios and streaming partners to sports leagues and news outlets can use Twitter to meet their goals. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker who can translate research into impactful insights, bring collaborative energy, and understand Twitter—and Twitter products. This person will be asked to excel at strategic thinking and creative ideation, possess effective time and project management skills, and be able to work effectively in cross-functional environments. Most importantly, this person must have a genuine passion for all things entertainment, from Sports and News, to Film and Television, and an innate understanding of storytelling.  

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for helping our entertainment brands achieve their goals on Twitter, providing unique recommendations with our scaled products, and diving deep into behavior on Twitter to pitch wholly custom solutions. This will require you to work closely with sales partners, partners within our organization, and design to present your work to brands and their agencies. It is a fast-paced, always evolving and consistently fun environment to stretch and deepen your creativity within a close knit team.

 

Qualifications

 

  • BA/BS degree 

  • 3-6 years experience in digital media and marketing at a creative agency, on the client-side at an entertainment company/brand, at a tech company/platform, or with a media company. Experience in sports entertainment is a plus. 

  • You are reliable, energetic, and love a creative challenge 

  • You are a curious trend-spotter with a hunger to learn about what makes people and culture tick on Twitter and the world at large

  • You use Twitter, love Twitter, and are curious about the limitless opportunity that exists to create new things with Twitter

  • You are comfortable looking at a set of data or reading research and developing it into a perspective

  • You leave an impactful impression through presentations and pitches 

  • Proficiency with Keynote preferred

The applicable salary range for each U.S.-based role is based on where the employee works and is aligned to one of 4 tiers according to a cost of labor index in that geographic area. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary ranges for this role, are set forth below. These ranges may be modified in the future.

  • Tier A: USD $96,000 - USD $124,000
  • Tier B: USD $91,000 - USD $118,000

This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Sales Incentive Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
