eDiscovery Analyst

We’re looking for an eDiscovery Analyst to support Twitter’s Litigation, Regulatory, and Competition team and Legal Response team. This will require superb project management skills, the ability to develop relationships and collaborate across multiple functions, and the initiative to drive the adoption of eDiscovery principles throughout the organization. Among other things, you’ll advise teams on best practices relating to all things eDiscovery. This is an important, and broad, role for someone with a passion for defending free expression and helping Twitter grow while staying true to its values.

The Position

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee the execution of eDiscovery projects on a day-to-day basis while working alongside Twitter’s lawyers, paralegals and other members of the Legal team to provide expertise in the area of eDiscovery
  • Oversee all eDiscovery vendors and outside counsel eDiscovery efforts while implementing cost-saving measures
  • Assist in identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, analyzing, reviewing, producing, and presenting electronically stored information (“ESI”
  • Create and execute complex searches across vast repositories of dat
  • Manage data collection and production, including, but not limited to, collections from Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian (Confluence, JIRA), and other cloud and proprietary solutions
  • Create and maintain matters in eDiscovery review platform such as Relativity, or other equivalent technology
  • Coordinate electronic and forensic collections
  • Identify potential project problem areas and solve those problems before and as they arrive
  • Implement and adapt eDiscovery workflows for custom data types, including the use of scripts
  • Monitor multiple eDiscovery projects and jobs to ensure deadlines are met
  • Manage the eDiscovery Jira ticketing workflow 
  • Assist with amending standardized procedures relating to the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM)
  • Forge and maintain relationships across the company with various data owners, Compliance, Privacy & Data Protection, and Legal Policy teams.
  • Assess where Technology-assisted review (TAR), structured analytics, and conceptual analytics, can be utilized on eDiscovery matters and maintaining these technologies over a matter’s lifecycle. 
  • Supervise and manage eDiscovery software
  • Evaluate eDiscovery tools to be integrated into existing workflow
  • Implement and manage litigation holds and manage related inquiries

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s or equivalent practical relevant experience–a strong technical background is helpful
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience providing eDiscovery services and litigation support on complex and large cases involving eDiscovery challenges
  • Experience with Relativity, IPRO, LAW PreDiscovery, Concordance, Summation or other review database applications
  • Experience with Forensic Toolkit, Google Vault, Clearwell, Cellebrite, SQL and Python queries
  • Experience managing confidential information with professionalism and integrity 
  • Working knowledge of the Information Governance Reference Model (IGRM) and eDiscovery Reference Model (EDRM)
  • Significant experience with the development of policies and practices with respect to eDiscovery for a growing legal team
  • Exceptional judgment, analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Track record of developing practical solutions to novel problems and taking the initiative to implement those solutions
  • Ability to work under pressure and identify, prioritize and resolve issues quickly and independently
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with demonstrated ability to build and scale programs and lead cross-functional initiatives

Additional Information

The expected salary range for this role to be performed in San Francisco is USD $110,000 - USD $144,000. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Performance Bonus Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
