Twitter Next partners with the top brands in the world to help create impactful advertising campaigns that drive conversation around their biggest moments—on Twitter and off of it.

The Position

We're looking for an Associate Brand Strategist who can excel in using research, human-centric thinking, and a strategic approach to unpack brand briefs and deliver creative recommendations for how brands can use Twitter to meet their goals.

On their best day, this person is (1) using Tweets, trends, and data to understand people. (2) Crafting genuinely surprising insights that unlock opportunities. (3) Creating and pitching ideas to brands that get people talking.

On a given day, this person may be creating a strategy using Twitter ad products to bring their campaign to life, brainstorming with cross-functional partners (such as sales, creative, technology, etc.), or presenting to an agency.

The ideal candidate is a creative thinker who can translate research into an insightful formulation about people, bring collaborative energy, and understand Twitter—and Twitter products. This person will be asked to excel at strategic thinking and creative ideation, possess effective time and project management skills, and be able to work in cross-functional environments.

This role works closely with a team of creatives, strategists, technologists and data analysts to help execute and develop innovative ideas for the world's top brands. It is a fast-paced, always evolving and consistently fun environment to stretch and deepen your creativity within a close knit team.


  • You are reliable, energetic, and love a creative challenge
  • You are a curious trend-spotter with a hunger to learn about what makes people and culture tick on Twitter and the world at large
  • You use Twitter, love Twitter, and are curious about the limitless opportunity that exists to create new things with Twitter
  • You are comfortable looking at a set of data or reading research and developing it into a perspective on people
  • You can leave an impactful impression through presentations and pitches
  • Understanding of the gaming space is a plus
  • Proficiency with Keynote preferred
  • You have 3 - 6 years experience in digital media and marketing at an ad agency, on the client-side, at a tech company/platform, or with a media company
  • BA/BS degree preferred

The expected salary range for this role to be performed in New York City is USD $96,000 - USD $124,000. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Sales Incentive Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
