The Position

Who You Are

As a Brand Specialist, you will be a part of a global, cross-channel team working closely with Product, Product Marketing, Content Partnerships, Sales, and Ad Operations to grow Twitter's brand advertising solutions and takeovers.

In this role, you are a subject matter expert. You will be responsible for championing production adoption and revenue growth for brand advertising at Twitter.

You serve as a solutions partner within the organization. You combine your subject matter expertise with your regional marketplace knowledge to create and drive strategies that will help both our local and global businesses grow.You provide guidance and support to regional and global team members.

You will play a key role in shaping Twitter's brand business overall. You will partner with key stakeholders across the business to drive local initiatives, escalate advertiser feedback, help to lead new GA product launches in market, report on industry trends, identify areas of product differentiation, attend strategic internal or external sales meetings, lead external training sessions, and educate the sales team on product positioning and objection handling in your market.

Responsibilities:

  • This role is embedded with the Customer teams to enable and understand client goals & objectives, recommend best practices, identify accounts for new revenue growth, sell strategically, craft solutions and position the sales team for success.

  • Confident presenting brand advertising solutions to both large groups as well as senior leaders internally and externally.

  • Deliver value to Twitter Sales teams via strong analytical abilities, communication skills and subject matter expertise of brand marketing.

  • Develop and retain a strong working knowledge and perspective on the latest industry trends and proactively shares competitive knowledge with XFN partners

  • Report & Analyze revenue product trends via advertiser feedback and internal Twitter dashboards

  • Understands and evolves how to position Twitter's brand and brand products in unique and powerful ways in narratives and sales pitches given marketplace shifts and nuances

  • Partner closely with Product (incl Ops & Marketing) teams to drive successful go-to-market strategies through a consistent loop of client feedback, product positioning, and sales education.

  • Collaborate with wider stakeholders including Business Marketing, Market Insights & Analytics, Global Content Partnerships & Sales to drive local growth projects & deliver against quarterly goals.

  • Resolve moderate to complex campaign issues in scope in a timely and productive manner, and proactively identify and implement process improvements.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant experience)

  • Must be located in Japan

  • 4-6+ years of related experience in the digital or media industry with at least 2+ years dedicated to brand advertising in JPKR

  • Motivated team player who consistently strives to exceed goals and push revenue expectations.

  • Speaks fluent Japanese and strong English. The ability to speak Korean is preferred

  • Experience leading cross-functional business projects and implementing global/regional strategies throughout JPKR

  • Strong drive to achieve and exceed targets, relentlessly positive attitude, and incredible work ethic.

  • Strong grasp of marketplace trends and expertise in selling video & upper-funnel solutions.

  • Ability to think creatively and critically and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment.

  • Data-Driven. Strong quantitative background in finding trends and opportunities within data.

  • Excellent communication and listening skills, attention to detail, and a bias for proactively resolving issues.
