The Position

We're looking for a highly motivated, goal-oriented, team player to join our Site Policy team in Dublin. Success in this role requires someone who is curious, analytical, disciplined, proactive, and has a knack for managing multiple tasks efficiently.

We work to ensure user trust, protect user rights, and mitigate legal risk through policy definition, Terms of Service enforcement, and safety advocacy. What You'll Do

As a Policy Domain Specialist, Child Safety, you will build expertise on our Child Safety policies and guidelines, analyze abuse trends, build insights on abuse, and improve policies and processes to mitigate badness on the platform and hard to users

Additionally, you will also be expected to handle escalations, legal requests, abuse reports etc. in an efficient and timely manner, enforce relevant policies, provide policy explanations to users and stakeholders, and ensure our internal legal and communications teams are up to speed on the work we're doing.

You will:

  • Develop deep cross-functional partnerships with key partners to understand, ideate, and improve on our existing abuse-fighting efforts

  • Own and drive Child Safety Policy development from strategy to development, iteration, and final execution

  • Conduct research initiatives that uses quantitative and qualitative data to develop process improvements to increase the impact of our enforcement operations

  • Resolve reports of abuse/rules violations, quickly and efficiently

  • Work closely with other teams and in-house counsel to identify, prioritize, organize, and resolve complex safety issues and other escalated matters

You will report to Site Policy Manager, Child Safety in Dublin. This is a full-time position.

  • You have at least 7 years of professional experience with 4 years in the field of study and/or professional experience in promoting online safety - with a specific focus on child safety online

  • Experience in project management and/or improving operational processes, proactive mindset and problem solving skills

  • Understanding of data relationships and capable of making data-driven decisions

  • Experience in delivering process improvements in efficiency, quality, expanding scope or influence, etc to achieve the goals of the organization

  • Relevant experience in policy developments for online platforms with user-generated content

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and maintain healthy relationships with stakeholders

  • Complete fluency in English and preferred (nut not required) bilingual written and oral fluency in another language

  • Experience using third-party ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Service Cloud, etc.)

  • Experience handling high-profile escalations (preferred but not required)
