The Position

India is a very strategic market for Twitter globally. We are searching for a Head of Marketing who works alongside the regional and global teams as well as the cross functional teams to develop, drive and manage business marketing (B2B) strategies for India. In this role, you will be part of the Leadership Team in India and primarily focus on driving adoption of our service / products and educating large businesses and agencies to grow with Twitter.

You will be responsible for overseeing country level marketing strategy, events, narrative building, digital and social media marketing and trade advertising strategies (incl. paid and social content). The person should have a deep understanding of the consumer and market dynamics to deliver effective marketing plans that truly move the needle. This position requires experience in core, strategic brand and performance marketing & excellent stakeholder management. To be successful, the person will have to be able to deliver operational excellence with analytical vigor, foster innovation and be able to work both independently and as a team player.

This position is located in New Delhi and will work cross functionally with the sales, research, communications, and creative agency partners. The ideal candidate should have a desire to work in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly, thrive in high-pressure situations and of course, this person should believe in the power of conversations on Twitter!


  • Significant experience (10-12 years) in marketing, including business-to-business advertising.
  • Prior experience in spearheading integrated brand and growth marketing efforts through strategic integrated marketing campaigns, leveraging research/insights to achieve campaign KPI's
  • Team player with ability to work across functions and geographies
  • Strong communication skills
  • Analytical, strong critical-thinking and creative problem-solving abilities
  • Flexible, able to work independently and in a team, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Mix of operational capabilities (time/budget management, deadline adherence) and creative instincts.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset, comfort in dealing with a dynamic business environment
  • Strong receptivity to feedback and willingness to collaborate cross-functionally
