Staff Product Manager, Organizations

The Position

Alongside a veteran team of engineers, marketers and fellow product managers, you will be responsible for developing, prioritizing, communicating and executing on a roadmap for your feature area and partnering with a number of internal teams on the product’s future - ultimately driving up user engagement, conversation and revenue generated on Twitter. This role is highly strategic and a lot of the specific direction will be up to the PM to create.

Working closely with a diverse set of product teams across Twitter, you will:

  • Manage and own the strategy and development for your assigned products and features
  • Define and execute on a roadmap for your problem space, working closely with the research, design, data science and engineering teams
  • Evaluate opportunities for Twitter to expand the Professional Customer offering and identify new monetization opportunities
  • Work closely with leadership and other members of the team and contribute towards the future vision for Professional Customers at Twitter
  • Work closely with product and partnerships teams across Twitter to identify features and validate roadmaps through close collaboration.
  • Conduct customer-facing meetings to validate roadmaps and features through direct customer interaction.
  • Collaborate with both consumer, data science and infrastructure teams to measure and improve the impact of the features you build and be able to explain why you reached your conclusions in a clear, accessible way.
  • Work with Product Marketing to develop go-to-market strategies for the product areas you manage

  • 8+ years of validated experience in Product Management roles, with a consistent track record for delivering demonstrable value for customers
  • You’re personable, conscientious, and excellent at building positive relationships with a diverse set of customers and partners from across the business, regardless of their role or area of expertise. You’re particularly skilled at gaining alignment and building a positive relationship with your engineering counterparts
  • You’re a creative, out of the box problem solver with a demonstrated ability to bring your vision to life in close collaboration with engineering.
  • You’re customer-obsessed; always prioritizing an outstanding customer experience
  • You have a demonstrated ability to make insights driven decisions
  • You’re a clear and effective communicator, both in person and in writing
  • You’re driven to get things done with a focus on impact and a growth mentality
  • Passion for Twitter and our mission

Desired:

  • You have strong experience of working with Professional Customers and an understanding of their needs.
  • You have hands-on experience building or using media & content management systems.
  • A background working in newsrooms or on products used by Professional Customers
  • You have at least a solid understanding of media formats
  • You have experience and comfort working with remote teams

We are looking for a Staff Product Manager to join the Professional Customer Products team at Twitter where you will play a central role in helping shape the Twitter experience for our most valuable and influential customers. Our team builds the tools and services that influence how Professional Customers use the Twitter platform. In this role you will be working on our media content management and creation platforms that help the largest partners at Twitter succeed.
