Help protect the public conversation. We are expanding our product team focused on the collective health, openness, and civility of conversations on Twitter. We do this by building features to support platform integrity and customer safety. We’re taking on deep and complex challenges, so the role is also highly cross-functional, and will involve engagement across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Legal, Policy, and Operations.
Example near-term focus areas:
Build and iterate on measurement systems to ensure we understand the state of health on the platform and we’re prioritizing correctly going forward
Create a unified service to organize and iterate on the data that we use to detect unhealthiness, such as shipping more sophisticated detection features
Improve user-facing experiences such as warning interstitials on likely violating content
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience as a strong leader, and building and shipping a variety of products that combat account compromise, spam, misinformation, scams, and other types of abusive behavior and content in online platforms.
