People Services Specialist - Centralized Function

The People Services team is focused on delivering a memorably positive and seamless employee experience at Twitter. Playing a key role throughout the employee lifecycle from hiring and onboarding to developing and offboarding, the People Services team delivers on operational excellence and surfacing data-driven insights. You care about the employee experience while managing and improving backend operations and processes. 


What You’ll Do:

  • Provide seamless and client-focused support to our people throughout the employee lifecycle from onboarding, transfers, performance cycles and critical moments through departure
  • Focus on operational excellence and drive process enhancements for the People Services team.
  • Day-to-day management of outsourced HRO team in Manila. Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions. Identify gaps in HRO understanding of Twitter processes and policies, provide training. 
  • Triage and/or execute complex transactions that cannot be transitioned to the HRO team.
  • Provide support with onboarding and coordinate offboarding activities as people exit the organization, including exit interviews
  • Maintain people data across HR systems
    • Develop strong understanding for process management in our core systems
    • Perform Workday data audits
    • Ensure I-9 compliance and Re-verifications
    • Take initiative in system implementation and enhancement projects: requirements definition, process design, and system testing
    • Ensure necessary documentation is stored in electronic employee files
    • Run and distribute weekly, monthly and quarterly HR reports to relevant stakeholders, as needed.
  • Provide HR compliance and audit support.
  • Provide Internal and External audit support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-3 years experience in an HR administration, operations or generalist role, preferably in the technology industry
  • Experience with Workday is a strong plus
  • PHR certification is a plus
