Senior Manager, Business Strategy & Operations
Who We Are
The Engineering leaders at Twitter provide the direction needed to build & maintain technologies that flawlessly serve the billion tweets our users submit on a weekly basis. As Twitter evolves, the Business Strategy & Operations team helps inform and guide the engineering teams that make the world’s largest real-time system scalable and efficient. The Business Strategy & Operations function will work closely with senior leadership across the engineering organization shaping and driving strategic, operational, and organizational improvements across the organization.
What You’ll Do
Identify cross-functional dependencies, prioritize resource investment
Monitor internal performance and identify areas for improvement
Draw insights from data analysis, synthesize summaries and make recommendations
Work with key stakeholders in relevant functions, inform recommendations and gain buy-in
Create compelling presentations to effectively communicate to the executive team
Assist in identifying the story lines and drafting the narratives that explain performance
Develop presentations to communicate performance and initiatives planned for the next year.
Who You Are:

10+ years relevant work experience
Analytical thinker and structured problem solver.
Comfortable to work in ambiguity with a bent towards fast execution and iteration.
Project management mindset on task execution.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent with specialisation in marketing, finance, business, or related field of study.
Experience using a consulting approach to identify and build business strategy
Facilitation experience and the ability to lead programs such as strategy planning sessions.
Experience working across multiple functions/ business units, influencing and collaborating with others to successfully implement programs
Management consulting experience a big plus.
MBA/MS or equivalent with specialisation in marketing, finance, mathematics, business or related field of study.

Engineering Hiring Process
Once your application is received, a recruiter will reach out pending your qualifications are a match for the role.
If your background is a match, you may have 1-2 technical phone interviews or be given the chance to provide a work sample depending on the role.
If the phone interviews go well or your work sample is strong, the final step includes interviews with 5-6 people held onsite in our office.
