Who We Are:

The Twitter Corporate FP&A team drives enterprise level planning and reporting for the company. We business partner across many teams within the company, including Investor Relations, Analytics, and Engineering (to name only a few teams), to help drive strategic

thought and provide metric insights to the CFO and executive staff. We also provide financial and metrics reporting for the Board of Directors and play an integral part of the earnings release process with our Investor Relations team. The Corporate FP&A (Metrics) team, in

particular, is responsible for reporting and performing analysis on the company’s audience and advertising revenue metrics. You will be in a highly visible role presenting and interacting with senior leaders and have a meaningful impact on the success of the company.


What You'll Do:

  • Become the Subject Matter Expert for audience metrics; this includes investigate detailed drivers of audience movements (MAU and DAU) and engagement across geographies, products, and features
  • Play a key role in the metrics planning, forecasting, reporting, month and quarter-end processes
  • Partner closely with key internal stakeholders across the product, engineering, and analytics teams to understand the different product initiatives, experiments, and convey the impact to audience metrics
  • The ability to compile, analyze, and present complex reports, statements and/or projections


Who You Are:

  • Strong drive for data integrity, process definition, and organizational alignment
  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at various levels of business and technical expertise, including the ability to simplify difficult technical concepts
  • Team player and self-starter with the ability to liaise with multiple teams and stakeholder
  • You have strong written and spoken communication skills; ability to connect with team members
  • Effective when working independently and as a team player who can work collaboratively within a group and across divisions/functions
  • Exemplary oral communication and interpersonal skills (cross-functional team environments)


Requirements:

  • Superior SQL skills (including experience querying large and complex data sets), superior Excel skills, and proficiency in a BI Tool (Tableau preferred, but similar tools acceptable)
  • 5+ years of experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence, and/or FP&A
  • BA or BS in Statistics, Business, Analytics, Data Science or related field
