Compliance Analyst

Who We Are

You initially will report to the Senior Legal Director, Compliance on the Legal team and will be based in our San Francisco headquarters. You will primarily be responsible for supporting Twitter’s compliance monitoring processes around third party risk management, anti-corruption and employee training, and will also support enhancement of internal reporting. In doing so you will work closely with Legal team colleagues and other control and support functions, and will engage with business leaders throughout the company and around the world.  You'll help to continue to develop the compliance culture at Twitter and embed integrity and compliance initiatives in our operations as our company grows.

We're looking for an experienced professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with broad responsibilities including:

  • Develop analytics for elements of the compliance program and infrastructure, including investigations and third party risk management

  • Conduct periodic monitoring, testing and auditing for program implementation and effectiveness

  • Action escalations arising out of third party screening processes

  • Maintain, update, and report on employee training records

  • Work to embed compliance programs and controls in everyday activities

  • Provide guidance on compliance policies and training

Who You Are

  • Demonstrated sound business judgment and risk awareness

  • Flexible, hard-working and a creative problem solver, comfortable with generating new and innovative solutions as we grow our Compliance program  

  • Demonstrated self-starter, acting with initiative and the ability to work independently

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Outstanding oral, written and presentation communication skills

  • A great team player, able to engage with teams and colleagues in different functions and at different levels in the company

Requirements:

  • Strong Google Suite and Microsoft Office skills

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience, preferably in a compliance, audit, or risk management role

  • Experience working in technology preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
