Sr. Finance Analyst, Business Intelligence

Who We Are:


Sales Finance provides insight into Twitter’s business using financial models built on strong relationships.  We engage directly with both senior management and front-line sales to understand the drivers of Twitter’s revenue, and how to optimize that revenue.  


What You’ll Do:


  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders in Sales, Finance, Operations, Engineering, IT and across the company

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, IT and Operations teams to design, develop & deliver robust and scalable reporting automation

  • Simplify complex problems & huge data sets, to extract non-obvious insights

  • Be part of a great team, but capable of operating independently -  managing relationships, deliverables and expectations with your business partners

  • Be personable, approachable and able to connect with each and every person on the team and throughout the business

  • Create and deliver impactful presentations that tell a story focused on insights, not just data

  • Remain detail-oriented while working across a wide variety of projects


Who You Are:


  • An expert in financial modeling and quantitative analysis, who enjoys solving complex and unstructured problems

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across different functions and effectively influence senior business partners

  • Experience with Database Management systems (SQL) who enjoys solving complex and unstructured problems

  • Demonstrated ability to simplify complex data sets and extract non-obvious insights with frameworks and analyses

  • Strong ability to project manage and to remain detail-oriented while working with numerous stakeholders

  • Some knowledge of the digital ad space; specific experience in mobile programmatic  a strong plus




  • Bachelor's degree with strong academic record, MBA a plus

  • At least 5-8 years of work experience

  • Superior financial modeling skills (excel etc)

  • Experience with SQL

  • Tableau/front end design for Business Intelligence

  • R or Python is a strong plus.  If you don’t have these skills already, will be expected to learn on the job.

  • Possess a demonstrable grasp of Twitter, mobile (i.e., device and carrier markets), web and media markets
