Compensation Partner - Corporate Functions

We are looking for a passionate Compensation Partner based in San Francisco for our Corporate functions including Finance, Legal, Marketing and People. In this role, you draw from big picture thinking to deliver pragmatic and creative compensation programs balancing business needs and employee motivations.
What You’ll Do
Lead the compensation strategy and practices for our G&A organizations including Finance, Legal and Marketing. You roll up your sleeves to build, iterate and uphold programs, practices and training to attract and motivate Twitter’s employees in an equitable way. You do this in close partnership with our international head of C&B to ensure global and regional compatibility.
Lead cyclical compensation work including market benchmarking reviews, budget management, compensation planning, recognition programs, retention exercises, analyses, etc.
Advise and educate employees, leaders, HRBPs and Recruiters about our compensation philosophy (including base, variable and equity compensation) and cyclical and ad-hoc compensation programs.
Stay on top of internal trends, relevant pay legislation and competitive market intelligence, anticipating and navigating the potential impact to our pay philosophy and practices.
Partner closely with key team members in your client group, People, Finance and Legal to understand needs and prioritize accordingly. You demonstrate assertiveness, maturity, leadership, fortitude, creativity, influence, and the ability to be both strategic and executional.

If this sounds like it might be you, you probably have:
Hands on work experience with designing, implementing and operating compensation programs
Consulting background, with outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills and demonstrated ability to develop relationships and influence at all levels within the organization
Experience working in a fast-paced, high growth, dynamic business environment; tech industry experience highly desired
Strong problem-solving, critical/analytical thinking abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication, experience presenting analyses to management and ability to lead and drive initiatives
Knowledgeable of US regulatory pay requirements, global knowledge is a plus
Expert Excel skills, experience in Google Docs is a plus
Familiarity with Workday is a plus
Very little travel may be necessary
5+ years experience of compensation experience
BA/BS in Business, Human Resources, Finance or related discipline, or equivalent experience
