MoPub Programmatic Demand Lead, UK


Who We Are:

MoPub’s Demand Sales team is on the cutting edge, and we are looking for a Programmatic Demand Lead to drive mobile revenue across the MoPub exchange through deep rooted marketer relationships. They will be a MoPub  expert in the mobile programmatic ecosystem, both internally and externally, who empowers strategic and complex partnerships with advertisers commanding mostly direct response as well as branding budgets in the UK as well as Europe. This individual will report to the Head of Demand, based in London.

The Programmatic Demand Lead will join a fast-paced and strategic team at MoPub. This is a highly visible role within the company; you will be working both cross functionally with some of the most senior business and product leaders at Twitter, and externally with some of the largest marketers in the region.  They should be a self-starter, thrive in a high intensity and rapidly evolving environment, and have excellent communication skills.

What You’ll Do:

  • Research, identify, screen, and develop new business opportunities with direct marketers, while growing existing client relationships.

  • Understand what matters most to the marketer community when considering MoPub as a programmatic partner.

  • Lead and set advertiser strategy through partnerships with their agencies, agency trading desks, if applicable.

  • Conduct QBRs, sales trainings, and regular client meetings.

  • Build relationships with the DSPs via which marketers are executing the buys to form a strategic alliance

  • Educate the marketer community about advertising on MoPub and the power of mobile programmatic.

  • Develop and implement best practices for partner and client interaction.

  • Serve as an expert in key programmatic business trends, new technologies, and best practices.

  • Have a deep understanding of how direct response and re-targeting campaigns work from an advertiser perspective, how to make them successful on RTB

  • Work cross functionally to identify viable product initiatives and revenue opportunities to further develop and grow the Mopub Exchange.

  • Support leadership team in defining new approaches to marketing dollars in a rapidly evolving media landscape.

  • Construct deals and curate spend through private marketplaces and audience based buys, while ensuring alignment with client objectives.

  • You already have a solid network of mobile marketers that you can tap into for new business

  • You are intimately informed about trends in the programmatic space and are fully aware of the technology landscape.

  • You are exceptionally clear and precise in communication.

  • You can deliver presentations to C-level clients and management.


  • BA/BS degree

  • 6+ years of industry related experience

  • Deep understanding of mobile, programmatic, agency, and publisher monetization strategies

  • Solid understanding of mobile technologies and ad serving

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Top tier analytical, communication, and presentation skills

  • Proven ability to maintain strong, active relationships with client stakeholders

  • Proven track record to achieve revenue growth through new and existing business

  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail

  • Sound decision-making and critical thinking skills

  • Flexibility to travel across Europe

  • Fluency in German is a plus
