Financial Analyst, Sales Finance

Who We Are:

Twitter is looking for an exceptional Financial Analyst, Sales FP&A for our corporate headquarters in San Francisco. You will be a key member of the Sales Finance team working closely with partners around the company. We believe our leaders communicate fearlessly to build trust and seek diverse perspectives.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Understand the core cost drivers within Twitter and provide trending & benchmark analysis

  • You will work with Sales Operations teams to prepare and submit the operating expenses budget

  • You will design, develop & deliver robust and scalable expense reporting tools for internal Twitter customers

  • Develop a strong partnership with Accounting and Corporate finance teams, and work closely with them during monthly and quarterly close activities

  • Analysis of account detail, research, and drive resolution of all outstanding issues

  • Assist in headcount and expense planning for the global Sales organization and provide insightful recommendations to business units on resource prioritization

  • Identify appropriate inputs to calculate CPRD (Cost Per Revenue Dollar) and RPH (Revenue per Head) to determine appropriate direct sales and indirect sales resource allocation by geo and sales channels

  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with key business partners in Sales, Finance and across the company

  • Be personable, approachable and able to connect with each and every person on the team and throughout the business

 

Who You Are:

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across different functions and effectively influence senior business partners

  • You can work autonomously, to meet tight deadlines, and to thrive in a fast paced environment under pressure

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication, experience presenting analyses to management and ability to lead and drive initiatives

  • Knowledgeable of digital ad space; knowledge of social media a plus

  • You enjoy working in a dynamic fast-paced work environment, often on multiple projects simultaneously across different functional groups with minimal day-to-day guidance

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree or higher in Finance or Economics with a strong academic record required

  • 2+ years of work experience, preferably in a Financial Planning & Analysis capacity

  • Superior Excel financial modeling skills, strong familiarity with Hyperion/Essbase and proficient PowerPoint

  • You have good knowledge in Oracle and accounting concepts
