Business Operations Analyst, Corporate Security

Who We Are:

Corporate Security protects all employees and company assets globally. We facilitate informed decision making by identifying and mitigating risks. Corporate Security is responsible for Physical Security, Security Analysis & Investigations, Business Continuity, Travel & Event Security, Health & Safety, and Executive Protection.  CorpSec maintains close working relationships with other risk management teams at Twitter including Trust & Safety, Legal, Information/Network Security, and Internal Audit.

 

What You’ll Do:

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Play a key role in the financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and month end processes

  • Work across multiple verticals, including: FP&A, Strategic Sourcing, Accounts Payable

  • Be the main point of contact for CorpSec’s vendors to ensure accurate invoicing and payment; end-to-end purchase order management

  • Partner with appropriate business partners (Accounts Payable, Procurement Ops, etc.) to handle payment processes and other inquiries

  • Assist in security operations. You may be asked to provide support to health & safety, incident management, and other operational tasks. Prior experience not required but a desire to learn is key

 

Who You Are:

  • A team player, first and foremost

  • You love to show off your Excel skills, but are easily adaptable to Google Sheets

  • You’ve worked with the Google Suite (gmail, calendar, slides, docs, sheets, etc.)

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail - you aren’t afraid to ask tough questions

  • Able to work collaboratively across different teams and functions

  • Understand the difference between an invoice and a PO; a budget and a forecast

  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting analyses to management

  • Able to work autonomously, to meet tight deadlines, and to thrive in a fast paced environment

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with an excellent academic record

  • 2+ years of work experience, preferably in business operations, finance, or related roles

  • Ability to manage a variety of projects and meet deadlines

  • Strong working ability in Excel and/or Google Sheets

  • Experience reviewing contracts and knowledgeable about contract terms and conditions

  • Experience with Atlassian Tools and/or Salesforce a plus

  • Familiarity with Oracle a plus
